Admission Process
General:
Due to limited number of seats available in each class the admission procedure needs to be completed immediately after the declaration of the result of the qualifying examination. Admission will be on the basis of merit. The net percentage of each student to stand in merit will comprise of following items if corresponding certificates are produced, in addition to the performance test.
TOTAL - 100 Marks
e) All the students shall have to appear for "Written Test" at the approved center on the stipulated date. It will be followed by the personal Interview on same date at the same center. Students getting through the test shall be listed in the order of merit faculty wise (Arts, Commerce and Science); taking into account their physical fitness, medical report; N.C.C. & other aspects as per information given by the students in application form.
f) Students selected after Entrance Test will be communicated to reserve admission and seat in hostel by paying Rs. 5000/-. At the time of confirmation of admission, this amount will be adjusted against the fees payable.
In case if one cannot take admission due to failure in qualifying exam 80% of the reservation amount Rs.5000/- i.e. Rs. 4000/- will be refunded subject to submission of authenticated Xerox copy of mark sheet. If one does not confirm admission due to any other reason, only 50% amount i.e. Rs. 2500/- will be refunded against formal written request. The remaining amount is non-refundable.
g) For provisional confirmation of the admission, the student after declaration of the result of qualifying examination shall have to submit :
Mark list (Original + Two Xerox copies).
Transfer Certificate/Leaving Certificate. (Original + Two Xerox copies)
Required fees (Part to be paid at the time of admission as per the chart enclosed with the application form.)
Note: In all cases final confirmation of admission is subject to eligibility certificate to be issued by the University of Poona / M.S Board of Education.
h) Reservation of seats:
Five seats are reserved for the past students of Bhonsala Military School subject to specific recommendation of Commandant or Principal of Bhonsala Military School.
05 Seats are reserved for the children of ex-service personnel.
I) The student who confirms his/her admission as a boarder student will not be allowed to be a day student till completion of one academic year.
j) In case of cancellation at a later date after confirming admission, on any ground, the following amounts will be retained from the fees paid: a) Rs. 2500/- (The amount equal to non-refundable part of fee payable for reserving seat in hostel. b) Education fee paid at the time of admission. c) Lodging, Boarding and other service charges amounting to minimum 2500/- or actual in case the amount is more. d) Charges of various items and kits supplied/ordered through college store at actual. e) Actual expenses incurred against student’s account.
k) Campus service charges of at least one month, or actual.
l) How to Apply:
Affix your passport size photograph on the properly filled prescribed application form and get the Medical/Physical fitness form filled and certified by the Doctor at your place, after due Medical check-up.
Fill in the information on Admit Card wherever necessary; and affix your passport size photograph at the prescribed place.
Write your address on the post-card enclosed, to communicate the result of your test, and affix postal stamp of required value.
Get Bank Draft for Rs. 100/- towards the entrance test fee in favour of Principal Bhonsala Military College, payable at Nashik City preferably on State Bank of India, Gangapur Road Branch to be enclosed with application form.
Xerox copies of Certificates to authenticate the information you give in application form should be enclosed.
Send the above-referred documents in an envelope, addressed to the Principal, Bhonsala Military College, Nashik-422 005.
(Do not forget to send entrance test fee of Rs. 100/- by Bank Draft).
