A Military Training
BHONSALA MILITARY COLLEGE is the only college imparting training on service pattern to the students along with regular courses leading to graduate and postgraduate degrees.

The training is aimed at encouraging and correspondingly preparing students for entry into NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY (N.D.A.); INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY (I.M.A.); OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY (O.T.A.); NAVAL ACADEMY; AIR FORCE ACADEMY.

Such training is further helpful to prepare oneself for Indian Administrative Services (I.A.S.); Indian Foreign Services (I.F.S.) Indian Police Services (I.P.S.); and Para Military Services such as Central Reserve Police (C.R.P.); Border Security Force (B.S.F.) Indo Tibetan Border Police (I.T.B.P.); and other services of Officer Cadre.
Sailent Features of Military Training
1. Riding:
During Riding Training Ramdandees are taught to handle horses with care. The ramdandees learn trotting, cantering and galloping. Training culminates in Tent Pegging.

2. Parade:

Basic Military Training such as Drill without Arms; Drill with Arms etc. is imparted during parade. Rds. are formed on coy basis and Rd. Capt. is the student commander of Rds. He has coy Cdr. Pl. Cdr. and Pl Sgts. to assist and help in all respects. Annual Day Parade has always been an eye-catching event.

3. Swimming:

Swimming strokes such as free style, Butterfly stroke and Breaststroke are taught. Swimming Training is culminated in Diving. Our students have participated in National Teams.

4. Firing:

Our campus has our own firing range for 0.22 rifle. Recently a special air rifle shooting range is developed in the campus which is available for the students who opt to become the members of Bhonsala Rifle Shooting Club.
Expert Army coaches impart weapon Training. Handling of Weapons, Aiming, Holding and Trigger operations are taught on Air Gun and Point 22 Riffle.

5. Boating:

Watermanship is an Art. One has to have skill. Rds. are exposed to Boating event in Godavari River.

6. Martial Art:

Unarmed combat’s knowledge is the present day requirement of Boys and Girls. The Training with a view to ascertain self-Defence such as Judo, Karate etc. is imparted by the expert/s.

7. S.S.B. Cell:

Training pertaining to Services Selection Board Interview is the special feature of our College. We have requisite training Aids available with expert instructional staff.
